What are the hours of The Barn at Big Oak?

Monday - Friday: 10 AM - 8 PM
Saturday : 10 AM - 10 PM
Sunday: 12 - 8 PM

 

What is The Barn At Big Oak max capacity?

The barn will seat around 150 with additional seating in the pavilion. There is a maximum capacity of 200.

 

What is the cost?

How do I reserve The Barn at Big Oak Venue?

A signed contract and deposit is required to make a reservation.

 

Do I need to set an appointment to view The Barn at Big Oak?

You are more than welcome to visit the venue but appointments are required.  We want to ensure all our guests are given individual attention.

 

What if foul weather does not allow for an outdoor ceremony?

The Barn at Big Oak is fully capable of hosting a ceremony inside the chapel. The reception barn, pavilion, and dance floor are all covered spaces. Everything is joined together by rustic concrete sidewalks.

 

Is there a full kitchen?

No. There is a catering kitchen with a sink, commercial warming cabinet, refrigerator, freezer and counter space for florist or caterers. There is no stove or the ability to heat food that is not already warm.

 

Can I hire a caterer outside the vendor list on The Barn at Big Oak website?

Yes, and there is no additional fee.

 

Can I add my own decorations to the barn? 

We invite all of our guests to decorate and make The Barn at Big Oak their own! Any decorations that you add to the space are your responsibility to remove, as anything left behind after the rental period will likely be discarded. For any decoration involving climbing a ladder, we recommend hiring a professional planner. Nothing may be nailed, stapled, or otherwise permanently affixed to any part of the buildings.

 

When do we have to remove everything from the barn?

Wedding Package A has to have everything removed by Sunday at 11:00 AM.

Wedding Package B has to have everything removed immediately following the event.

 

Are tables, linens  and chairs included in the rental fee?

Yes. There are enough tables, linens  and chairs for 170 guests.    You will be responsible for renting additional chairs from an outside vendor.
