Herndon Station is an intimate, vintage-inspired event venue located at The Barn at Big Oak, offering a distinctive setting for life’s special moments. Its nostalgic Texaco gas station–themed exterior provides a unique first impression, blending classic charm with timeless character.
Designed for smaller gatherings, Herndon Station is ideal for birthday celebrations, anniversaries, baby showers, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, engagement parties, graduation parties,family reunions or small family gatherings, gender reveal parties, housewarming parties, milestone celebrations (e.g. promotions, achievements), small scale holiday parties,small corporate or team celebrations, etc. The flexible layout allows for seated dining, mingling, and casual celebration, making it perfect for hosting your closest friends and family.
Inside, Herndon Station offers a warm, rustic-elegant atmosphere. The space showcases a beautiful wood-plank ceiling, soft neutral tones, exposed architectural details, and statement lighting that blends farmhouse charm with vintage character. Thoughtful touches—such as chandeliers, reclaimed wood accents, and a cozy fireplace mantel focal point—create an inviting setting that feels both relaxed and refined.
Please note, Herndon Station is not available for weddings, but it is perfectly suited for pre-wedding events and special occasions held alongside The Barn at Big Oak.

What’s Included
Herndon Station includes access to a service kitchen equipped with a commercial refrigerator, warmer, freezer, coffee maker, microwave, and dishwasher for your convenience.
The rental also includes eight (8) round tables with seating for up to 64 guests.
Please note, tablecloths are not provided.
Events with more than 64 guests must be discussed and approved prior to booking.
Seperate Rental Notice: Herndon Station is a separate rental from The Barn at Big Oak.
If you have reserved The Barn at Big Oak and wish to use Herndon Station, a separate rental agreement and fee are required.
